We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our dynamic team in Modesto on a graveyard shift! This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated veterinarian with a passion for animal care and an interest in providing superior medical services. The ideal candidate will be EITHER an Entry Level Vet looking to gain experience OR have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role and possess a comprehensive understanding of veterinary medicine. Our organization is committed to delivering the highest standards of care to our patients, and we are looking for someone who shares this commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular examinations on animals to diagnose potential health problems and diseases.
• Perform surgical procedures on animals when necessary, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Provide emergency care to animals in critical condition.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments based on animals' diagnoses.
• Offer advice and guidance to pet owners on how to care for their animals at home, including dietary recommendations and preventative measures for disease.
• Collaborate with veterinary assistants and other medical staff to provide top-notch care to animals.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all treatments, surgeries, and medications given to each animal.
• Stay informed about advancements in veterinary medicine and integrate new, scientifically proven techniques and treatments where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• ZERO up to 5 years' experience in a veterinary practice, with a focus on animal care and emergency services.
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine.
• Proven surgical skills and experience.
• Exceptional patience and a love for animals.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical conditions and treatments to pet owners.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
• Proficient in using medical technologies and equipment used in veterinary practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other veterinary professionals.
• Strong commitment to ethics and a high level of professionalism.
