Part-Time: 24 Hours Per Week2nd Shift: 11:30am - 7:30pm

$5,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year work commitment
Summary:
The Mental Health Therapist I provides counseling and social work services under the supervision of a licensed staff member. They conduct psychosocial assessments of individuals and families, and offer appropriate clinical interventions based on client needs. This position requires the completion of supervised clinical work hours to obtain independent licensure.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of patients and families
- Communicate assessment, treatment plans, and interdisciplinary care to staff
- Provide competent care for the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of patients
- Coordinate and collaborate with hospital and community professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Use evidence-based tools and crisis intervention skills when necessary
- Complete documentation in a timely and ethical manner
- Perform other duties as required
Outpatient Add On:
- Complete Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions and other evidence-based treatments
PHP/IOP Add On:
- Use CBT and DBT (Dialectical Based Therapy) interventions in individual, group, and family therapy
PIRC Add On:
- Conduct risk assessments and crisis intervention as needed
- Triage and assess intake calls from families and community sources
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop crisis treatment plans
- Collaborate with professionals and communities to ensure follow-up care
Substance Use Add On:
- Use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based practices
- Involve families in therapy and provide behavior modification techniques as needed
Other Information:
Technical Expertise:
- Experience with electronic medical record software preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software required
- Experience providing clinical services through telehealth preferred
Education and Experience:
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Mental/Behavioral Health Counseling required
- Licensed as a Social Worker, Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist required
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- No supervisory experience required
