About the Team
The Onboarding Services team is responsible for the implementation components of a core, banking system transformation. As Project Manager II, you are a functional conduit between the Conversion Manager and the related applications. You will also assist with early engagement for our digital implementations, both part of and stand-alone implementations, gathering branding information.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assist with digital implementations by gathering early requirements and client information.
- Support Conversion Management by overseeing applications involved in a core conversion:
- Document PMO artifacts to include the project plan.
- Maintain the action items/risk and issues for the conversion.
- Update the weekly dashboard with application updates.
- Help facilitate weekly project team meetings (“Huddles”).
- Organize and help execute operational analysis and readiness review conversion milestones.
- Brainstorm workarounds and mitigation strategies for conversion date blockers by engaging the right teams to swarm on issues.
- Interact with project management colleagues, clients, and other cross-functional teams.
- Help meet and support project timelines, targeted deadlines, and client expectations for meeting strategic goals.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, computer science, or other related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- Typically, at least 1-3 years’ work experience managing projects in finance or related industry.
- General understanding of project management standards, principles, and processes.
- Knowledge of financial services industry, preferably banking.
- Excellent organizational, communication and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency working with Office 365 to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and MS Project.
- Proactive to engage where needed to help move projects forward.
- Demonstrated skill in managing project timelines and client expectations.
- Strong analysis, problem-solving, teamwork, conflict management and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature.
Added Bonus If You Have
- Direct experience with digital banking projects.
- Familiarity with online banking and/or bill payments.
