A Brief Overview


We are seeking an experienced Project Specialist to join our operational excellence team. As a Project Specialist, you will play an important role in the successful execution of projects within our organization. You will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the day to day activities impacting projects that will deploy change through the influence and leadership of 89 District Managers to our nationwide network of over 9,000 plus associates. You will drive change by working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and the Lead Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the desired quality outcomes

What you'll do:

  • Schedule and run project status meetings, recording meeting notes and project tasks

  • Prepare project reports, reporting on budget or benefit/save on projects where applicable

  • Monitor and track project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and working with Lead Project Manager to implement corrective actions as needed

  • Create project goals and monitor progress to ensure project is completed on time

  • Maintain field initiative calendar and provide monthly updates to key stakeholders

  • Gather updates and build presentations for monthly Regional Vice President calls to drive consensus on Initiative expectations

  • Collaborate closely with our large field organization to align project objectives with their strategic goals and initiatives

  • Establish strong working relationships with field leaders, understanding their unique requirements and challenges

  • Monitor and follow up on field inquiries in the Operations Excellence inbox

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

What You'll Need:

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Required

Experience Qualifications

  • 4-6 years Relevant experience Required

  • 1-3 years Experience in project management, administrative or related role Required

Skills and Abilities

  • Prior knowledge of project management tools and techniques

  • Exceptional communication, organization, and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
