Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program (BSN) recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
- In-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and disease processes.
- Knowledge of CPT coding, electronic medical records, and resource management systems is beneficial.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and team-building skills.
- Ability to work within a creative and challenging environment with minimal supervision.
- Experience in utilization review, medical records navigation, value-based purchasing, or pre-certification is helpful.
- Additional nursing experience in a specialty area is advantageous.
- Certification in Case Management is preferred.
License and Certification
- Current RN license as required by the state.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification for healthcare providers, which should not expire within 3 months of the start date.
- Certificates of completion from approved providers such as the American Heart Association or Red Cross are accepted.
