- Support the development of customer segment strategy, incorporating insights from market, competitors and customer research and aligning with the Product, Portfolio and Distribution Strategies and the Customer Value Proposition.
- Incorporate the breadth of internal, external market and customer insights to support the portfolio strategy, including identification of enhance our products/portfolios.
- Develop and implement regular monitoring and benchmarking of market and competitor activities and develop insights to inform the strategy development.
- Support the development of new products or changes to products as informed by analysis, market and customer research and share these insights with the broader Products and Portfolios team.
- Obtain and collate customer research and feedback to ensure that our products deliver sustainable customer-centric outcomes.
- Contribute insights and ideas as the Technical SME across enterprise-wide initiatives and identify emerging risks and opportunities relating to the Consumer products and portfolios.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/ or industry recognised accreditation.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking abilities to evaluate alternatives, make judgements, suggestions and develop innovative, sophisticated solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in managing consumer insurance products.
- Comprehensive knowledge of products, industry practices and governing legislations.
- Developed consulting and influencing skills, demonstrating the ability to co-create strategy and valuable solutions with key business stakeholders.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning, exchange knowledge and elicit beneficial outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
