SUMMARY
Raymour and Flanigan is currently looking for a User Experience Designer with strong interests and capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual excels at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. The candidate will also have experience in a fast-paced and innovative environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Boost overall user website experience and deliver effective solutions to achieve customer satisfaction of their digital experience.
- Accountable for the design, prototype, testing, and maintenance of user interfaces.
- Ability to quickly build low & high fidelity user prototypes that demonstrate a range of customer journeys and flows.
- Create visually-compelling designs and interactive experiences that drive the success of Raymour & Flanigan's portfolio of products.
- Design user experiences focusing on workflows, user journeys, user flows, storyboards, wireframes, personas, prototypes, site-maps, test cases, or written specifications and user stories.
- Educate and inform the organization on latest trends, best practices, methodologies, and UX guidelines. Stay up to date on User Experience Design and Design Thinking methods
- Support qualitative and quantitative user research to discover key insights about our customers and users
- Generate UX requirements alongside Product teams to prep features and enhancements for development.
- Develops design standards for digitally facing products. Maintrain the design system, creative hand off procedures, work instructions, and training materials
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, human computer interaction, psychology, or design related field with 2 or more years of experience in one or more of the following: digital marketing, UX design, visual design and usability testing
- Experience with design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
- Experience with VoC tools such as Foresee, Hotjar, or Qualtrics
- Experience with analytic tools including Google Analytics
