John Burns Real Estate Consulting seeks a Consulting Manager in Denver, Colorado.  Candidate will be part of the consulting team and lead engagements primarily in Colorado and the Western U.S.  These engagements will typically involve analyses for lenders, builders, and land developers, advising them on product and revenue opportunities for their real estate investments.

 

Ideal team member will have extensive knowledge of the real estate industry, be a self‐starter, extremely organized, detail‐oriented, and proficient in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.    Candidate will be in a fast‐paced work environment, and should have ability to work independently, manage multiple shifting priorities, and multitask to meet deadlines.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple ongoing assignments directly with client
  • Frequently suggests and implements ideas to improve analyses and our business
  • Coordination of full report production and workflow
  • Directly manages or mentors at least one team member 
  • Manages tasks and production of consultant(s) and Associate(s)
  • Regular client interaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics or related field (advanced degree a plus)
  • 5-10 years of real estate industry experience
  • Work with all levels of personnel
  • Experience managing projects
  • Advanced software skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • Organized, reliable, trustworthy, dedicated individual
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and pressure situations
