What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraplanner position at John Evans Recruiting?
The Paraplanner supports the advisory team through research, assisting the advisory team in the development and financial plans and investment portfolios, and to ensure commitments are completed and followed through in a timely manner.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the advisory team in development of strategies for financial planning, tax planning, and investment recommendation meetings.
- Preparation of client-facing materials.
- Manage the firm’s daily account monitoring platform to identify actions to be taken in client portfolios.
- Assist in ad-hoc modeling or research.
- Oversight of firm commitments made to clients to ensure timely delivery of outstanding action items.
- Organize client records across databases and reporting systems.
- Maintain high ethical standards, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Baseline knowledge and understanding of the function and use of financial securities such as Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, and ETFs, as well as investment accounts such as 401(k)’s, IRAs, and similar.
- Competence with Microsoft Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Consistent ability to deliver a client-first approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related fields.
- Knowledge of financial services and products such as annuities, personal insurance types, and estate planning documents.
- Proficiency in Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
