Lead fire alarm and sprinkler projects that generally have been assigned a medium to high priority. Provides subject matter expertise in areas including project management, project scope definition, risk identification, resource allocation, and facilitation. Maintains control of schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer expectations/satisfaction. Presents to management and/or customers on project updates and expected results. May manage vendor relationships throughout the installation. Ensures projects are closed on time and in scope.

How you will do it:
- Project Managers are responsible for managing fire protection projects in commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities, positively representing the company in all client and architect/engineer interactions.
- The PM oversees and communicates project progression to completion including design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, and field installation.
- Speaks multiple languages to provide effective and timely communication to different project stakeholders.
- Conducts monthly forecasting, billing, and work in progress meetings.
- Understands and follows building and NFPA codes, standards, and unique project specifications.
- Ensures Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements and departmental procedures are followed.
- Convey a professionalism, fairness, and concern for customers, and sense of urgency when needed.
- Coordinates change orders and drives toward overall margin improvement on every job.
- Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisors as deemed appropriate and to meet the customer's needs.

- High School or equivalent.
- Two plus years of experience as a project manager in the construction space with experience in low voltage and/or fire protection industry.
- Ability to read and understand complex building architectural, mechanical and electrical documents.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or equivalent field.
- Five years fire protection, construction, or related project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of standards, and applicable building codes preferred.
- NICET Fire Alarm/Sprinkler and/or fire alarm product knowledge is a huge plus.
- PMP certification is a major plus.
