Janssen Research & Development LLC, a Johnson & Johnson company, is recruiting for a Feasibility Data Strategy Lead. Is this person you?! If it is, you will help us as we assess and acquire internal and external data for advanced analytics! You will report to the Head Feasibility and Advanced Analytics. We at FAA are a diverse and hardworking team with strong expertise in a variety of areas including clinical trial feasibility, protocol optimization, and program success. The primary location for this position is Titusville, NJ. Consideration will be given to Springhouse, PA and Raritan, NJ.
In this role, you will:
- Assess and make business cases for various external data assets such as real-world data, operational data, and others.
- Develop and maintain the master list of data assets available to the data science and clinical trial feasibility teams
- Serve as a leading specialist in the internal Janssen data ecosystem as well as the arsenal of external data licensed by Janssen
- Regularly scan the external landscape of real-world and other types of data assets that would be useful to clinical trial feasibility teams
- Be deployed as data science representative and lead engagements with vendor, partner, and other interpersonal assessments with a focus on operational data sciences and clinical trial feasibility
- Develop and put together data assessments and questionnaires, as well as potential business cases for data/tool acquisition
- Lead the exploration, identification, and recommendation of all relevant data assets for data science efforts and lead the engagement with data engineers to get data in analytics-ready form for critical analytical packages
Qualifications - A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. An advanced degree in quantitative science is preferred.
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in relevant roles such as technical data procurement or development, data search specialist, data strategy specialist, or similar is required
- Experience working with large datasets, understanding of data analysis workflows
- SQL programming experience and expertise in pulling and assessing data assets for operational data analytics
- Solid understanding of the changing ecosystem of external data such as real-world data, and publicly available data assets that would benefit a clinical operations data science team
- Experience or deep understanding with data science and analytics, especially machine learning, data analytics, decision science, operations research and clinical trial feasibility, data modeling, and/or data engineering
- A robust track record of success working with data and analytics vendors and as subject matter authority in finding and packaging data and data variables for various types of analyses
- Excellent verbal and written communication, PowerPoint slide design, creation and story telling
- This position may require up to 15% domestic and international travel
