Reporting to the Director, Experience Design the UX Lead will design, lead, and inspire squads to craft human-centered digital experiences that meet users' needs. This strong digital craftsperson will collaboratively partner with product teams to achieve identified objectives, keep informed on industry trends, and identify UX opportunities and methodologies. This individual should be naturally curious, have a passion for human-centered design, be a creative problem solver, be comfortable with ambiguity, and embrace an agile culture. The lead will help to design artifact creation and demonstrate the use of design research methodologies.

Responsibilities:
- Operate as an individual contributor to the squad driving the quality of the user experience living into the JJT High-Performing Teams Operating Model
- Proactively partner with business and engineering to frame the problem and use the principles of design thinking to build experiences through a process of continuous product discovery inclusive of user research, prototyping and outcome measurement
- Collaborate with squads in planning and executing user experience research processes like contextual interviews, card sorting, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing
- Evolve, conceptualize, and communicate new insights using storytelling techniques that drive product decisions and prioritization
- Iteratively craft and own the end-to-end product design experiences through journeys, flows, interactions, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems based on business goals and user insights
- Provide leadership around UX standard methodologies and the creation of seamless product experiences and services that form the primary touchpoints for our users (patients, health care practitioners, employees, etc)
- A BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in interaction design, human-computer interaction (HCI), engineering, or related area
- At least 6 years of demonstrated ability as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, product designer, or similar UX-related role
- Experience iteratively crafting user experiences across mobile, web, and offline touchpoints measuring impact
- Advanced knowledge of information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as user experience principles and techniques
- Ability to simplify sophisticated concepts for consumption by non-technical leaders
- Intellectual curiosity to keep pace with industry trends related to user experience
- Outstanding leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Expertise in Adobe CS, Figma, and user research tools with a willingness to explore new tools are required
- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $90,000- $144,900
