Repair Technician

PURPOSE OF POSITION

To troubleshoot, diagnose and repair all products of the pool and spa industry and sold by the company.

• Valid California driver’s license and good driving record
• Good people skills
• Enjoy working outdoors

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicates effectively with customer throughout repair
• Performs in field repairs and installations
• Accurately fills out work order notes associated with repair process
• Performs pool/spa equipment warranty work and associated paperwork
• Determines materials needed to perform repairs and maximizes use
• Responsible for assuring trucks are stocked, washed and maintained
• Participates in development and/or revision of company processes
• Participates in periodic repair meetings
• Acts as Competent Person on jobsite per OSHA standards-A person capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions that are unsanitary or dangerous to employees, and who has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate such hazards
• Shows up to work on time and in company attire
• Follows company safety procedures
• Fills out company time card accurately and turns in on time
• Able to walk over uneven terrain and stand or walk for 80% of the day
• Able to lift and carry 100 lbs.
• Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• Able to work in dusty, hot, cold, dirty, wet and/or noisy conditions
