We are a 20 year old company that provides construction services and repair work for our commercial clients throughout the country. These projects include- Structural repair, Flooring repair, Concrete repair, Interior and Exterior Painting, Masonry, Fencing, and more.
Our new Construction Manager (CM) will join the team that’s responsible for the proposals, planning, organization, and scheduling of company personnel and/or subcontractors to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to the manufacturer’s and the client’s specifications. The CM must be able to work in this fast paced environment to manage and drive the completion of multiple projects at a time, while interacting with trade partners, team members, government officials, building departments, sales representatives, and customer representatives. Our new team member must have experience at performing these types of repairs as well as managing repair/remodel projects. Having this working knowledge is essential to the success of the new team member, the projects, and the company as a whole. The following are required for this position.
- 5 years of related trades experience (Please do not apply if you have never worked in the field, in a hands-on position)
- 3 years of construction management experience
- Valid Driver’s license
- High degree of personal integrity and work ethic
- Proficient and well versed in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Has the ability to apply logical and critical thinking to complete assigned tasks
- Thorough and detail oriented, to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and without error
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team
- Able to travel intermittently for project starts, project QC, assessments for proposals
- Be available for night, weekend, and/or emergency work for planned work order oversight rotations.
- Able to stand, walk, balance, climb, crawl, crouch, lift, hold, or stoop
- Execute other tasks as assigned and/or needed
