Position Description:
This is not your typical delivery driver position. The Delivery Driver Representatives at Johnstone Grimme Group work within a logistics team of 25-30 people and 5-10 people within our different branch locations. This position is a crucial dual role that ensures efficient operations are performed in delivering and preparing customer orders. They are responsible for various duties, such as loading and unloading customer orders into company vehicles and delivering products to customers. Other responsibilities include ensuring company vehicle maintenance, upkeep, minor repairs, general material handling duties, cycle counting, accurate inventory records, and picking orders.

Essential Functions:
- Ensures customer orders are accurate, shipped on time, delivered to the correct location, and arrive safely with no damage
- Follows designated schedules for shipping and delivery-related tasks and ensures that schedules and deadlines are met
- Safely operates vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other company machinery
- Ensures proper maintenance of company vehicles
- Ensures shipments are inspected and any damages are noted and documented
- Assists with maintaining a clean warehouse and ensuring it is free of safety hazards
- Receives, pulls, and adequately prepares customer orders in the warehouse when needed
- Helps load products on a delivery truck for customers
- Performs other warehouse-related duties as needed
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- A valid state driver's license and safe driving record required
- Preferred: two (2) years of experience in a delivery role and/or distribution
- Ability to be certified in forklift operation
- Ability to pass a DOT Physical for DOT Medical Certification
- Material handlers require certification and continuous training to operate heavy-lifting machinery like forklifts
Physical Demands:
- Lifting, moving, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to climb stairs/ladders
- Ability to push/pull inventory items
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and occasionally crawl in confined spaces
