What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner position at Joint Center?
Orthopedic clinic in Lake Oconee Greensboro, GA is looking for a Nurse Practitioner. Practitioner will be responsible for patient exams, joint injections, trigger point injections, PRP injections, distributing durable medical equipment, review of x-rays. Provide direct patient care, documenting/charting patient information in line with current policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Performing initial and existing patient exams and screening evaluations, review of x rays.
- Assesses patient health by obtaining and reviewing medical histories, performing physical exams and evaluations.
- Document patient care services by dictating notes and charting diagnoses in patient records.
- Performing therapeutic procedures by administering viscosupplementation injections and fitting knee braces.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Deliver timely, efficient, and professional care to the patients
- Utilize our EMR system to input patient data to ensure accuracy of patient information, records, and billing
Qualification, Experience, and Skills
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- A current/ active Georgia NP-C license is required
- Preference will be given to candidates with at least 3-5 years of experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and compassion towards patients with pleasant interactions.
- Comfort working with or learning our electronic medical reports software.
- Must have no restrictions to work in the state of Georgia
- Active NPI and CAQH
- Orthopedic experience preferred
