Description
The IT Support Specialist provides assistance and maintenance to all IT systems and hardware. This position is responsible for supporting hardware and software fixes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supports Service Desk Plus incoming tickets.
- Installs and supports technologies, such as desktops, copier/printers, CCTV, Plotters, Kiosk & etc.
- Provides regular maintenance to existing hardware and computer systems and maintaining logs to reduce and/or eliminate downtimes
- Establishes profiles, emails, and access passes for new employees and assisting in all password-related issues (Including ERP System)
- Provides assistance to company staff or clients with technology-related issues to resolutions
- Proactively troubleshoots systems and applications to reduce and/or eliminate downtimes
- Maintains inventory and orders new hardware parts as necessary.
- Coordinates import/export of IT equipment from US/MX including documentation
Requirements
- 0-1 years of experience in customer focus position involving technical knowledge of a companies' products and services
- Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution
- Comfortable working in and assisting others through company help desk software, in addition to other remote access desktop programs
- Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows and Mac OS
- Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients
- Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications
