What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Batching Operator position at Joriki USA Inc?
Description
Batching operators are responsible for following,
- Maintaining GMP and good housekeeping in the batching room, drum cooler room and sugar storage area.
- Ensuring management of allergens is followed, where applicable. Such as use of colour coded batching tools, uniform policy, use of colour coded sanitation tools.
- CIP and general cleanings of batching tank, pumps and pre-blending tanks.
- Bringing concentrate drums inside the blending room, opening them and visual inspection of content for any kind of abnormalities.
- Bringing pre-weighed minor ingredients from weighing room, verifying their lot No and weights.
- Recording Lot Numbers of all ingredients, tares batch tank and recording ingredient wise weights.
- Timely and accurately blending of juices and ingredients as per formulations.
- Checking critical parameters and submitting samples to Quality Lab for releasing of batch.
- Co-ordinate with filling machine operator and supplying released juice batches to holding tanks for filling.
- Removing all empty barrels and lids to the scarp disposal area.
- Maintaining safety at workplace- wearing PPE wherever required.
- Managing Spill control- first respondent, responsibly dispensing wastes at correct waste stream.
- Spill control is a way to control the potential for cross contamination of allergens.
- Performing any other duties as assigned by Production manager / QA Technician.
Requirements
Education & Experience Requirements
3-5 Yrs within the Food & Beverage Industry
High School Education or equivalency
Previous Mixing or Batching experience preferable
HACCP Knowledge Preferable (will train)
Knowledge of Production and Sanitation SOP’s, GMP’s, Food Handling Hygiene
Able to complete documents in a legible fashion

Salary : $32,900 - $41,700
