What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Coordinator position at Jostens?
Job Title: Art Coordinator
Coordinate art information within Eagan team, sales Reps, outsourced Contractors and SPI project team to obtain a final manufacturing file to produce that pleases the final customer. Provides help and assist in all the activities related to the department.
- Assign project designers work based on their capabilities and needs.
- Keep organized track of all requests, revisions and events related to the art creational process, maintaining the Records and updated databases for all programs (GWP, SWR, BTS, FanShop) using Reports by program.
- Assign ID for all programs. Modify system so it shows proper art IDs of last versions of the art.
- Searches and provides insight about previous art to both salesman and contractors.
- Issue and manage questions and concerns from both the Salesman and the contractors and keeps system track of these changes.
- Expedites requests to the Contractors for both proofs and factory orders art. (Emset) and save them into the date base (Tajima).
- Suggests product changes and recommends the best product templates to achieve specific art instructions.
- Keep track of the quality report for the Project team
- Audit silkscreen and embroidery for Fanshop programs and emset if necessary.
Required:
- HS graduate
- Office package full knowledge.
- AS400 system.
- Experience in the digital products art environment.
- Highly organized.
- Detailed oriented.
- English intermediate (written and verbal)
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree
- Client services experience
