Job Posting for Construction Superintendent - Healthcare Renovations at Journey Group
For over 110 years, Journey Construction, a Journey Group division, specializes in commercial building construction management across the Midwest, primarily South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, and North Dakota. We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead, organize, and monitor construction schedules in a safe and efficient manner for our Special Projects division that provides renovation and expansion project support to our commercial partners in the Sioux Falls and surrounding communities. Lead a team of carpenters and laborers to reach key project milestones, monitoring budget and resources throughout the entirety of the project with safety as the number one priority. Work closely with owners of the project, Project Managers, Project Engineers, field employees, and a variety of subcontractors like an Operations Manager at the construction site to turn those plans into reality!
Qualified candidates will have:
- demonstrated project and people leadership skills are non-negotiable!
- a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience of similar scope and responsibility.
- an associate's degree or greater in Construction Management or related field.
