Receiving Operator

Jowat Corporation has an immediate opening for an Receiving Operator in High Point, NC.

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to be a crucial part of the production process? Jowat Corporation has an immediate opening for a Receiving Operator at our High Point, NC location. As a Receiving Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our production line runs smoothly by accepting, unloading, and storing deliveries of raw materials and parts. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us continue to lead the way in adhesive manufacturing.

Day-in-the-life And Your Responsibilities

• Accept and Unload Deliveries: Accurately accept and unload raw materials and parts into the warehouse, ensuring all quality specifications are met.
• Quality Control: Place non-conforming materials into quarantine until requirements are met or further instructions are received.
• Storage and Organization: Properly store conforming materials so they may be readily retrieved and maintain a high level of housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Communication: Work closely with the Purchasing department to expedite the unloading and approval process.
• Support Roles: Provide assistance to the shipping operator and help truck drivers with the receiving and unloading of silo trucks.
• Paperwork and Data Entry: Process paperwork or data entry into SAP in a timely manner.
• Cycle Counts: Assist in performing cycle counts as assigned.
• Equipment Handling: Unload and load all trucks delivering to our manufacturing locations and assist in placing finished goods onto the conveyor.
• Package Delivery: Receive and deliver small packages throughout the facility.
  
  

Our Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience preferred.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to get on and off and drive a forklift.
• Manually lift up to 50 lbs. 10-12 times per shift.
• Bending, squatting, and stooping during cleaning activities.
• Stand for short intervals and walk frequently.
