Title: Office Coordinator

Reports To: Operations Manager

Classification: Part-time

This role will join our Joy’s House team to serve our families and community by providing exceptional adult day and caregiver services.

Job Summary: The Office Coordinator is responsible for all front desk coverage and some other administrative tasks for the office.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Front desk coverage Monday-Friday, 1pm-5pm (or as arranged with supervisor)

· Answer phones and direct calls appropriately

· Maintain accurate MomentPath records

· Manage volunteer sign-in/out

· Welcome visitors and connect them to the appropriate staff person

· Distribute and gather Guest attendance calendars

· Monitor closed circuit cameras to help ensure Guest safety

· Process in-kind donations

· Circulate cards for birthdays, anniversaries for staff and non-staff individuals and groups

· Daily care services support, as needed

· Schedule Staff Meetings

· Assist with preparation for agendas, handouts, documents, and maintains minutes for Staff meetings and other meetings as needed

· Assist President when appropriate

· Update internal forms related to Finance and Operations

· Assist advancement team with stewardship activities, events, mailings, and other support as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

· Basic understanding of computer programs is a must

· Strong interpersonal and social skills

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 29 per week

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
  • No weekends

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required)
  • Administrative experience: 2 years (Required)

Ability to Commute:

  • Indianapolis, IN 46220 (Required)
