Our Lehigh Valley Division, located in Allentown, PA, is currently searching for a Service Advisor! Our goal is to find the right fit for our team to grow into leadership roles, such as a Shop Manager or Parts Manager! To achieve that goal, this position is based fully onsite.
What You Will Do:
- Process work orders
- Order and receive parts
- Match invoices with purchase orders and ensure prompt processing with accounts payable
- Assist in inventory control
- Schedule shop personnel
- Special projects and other job duties as assigned
You Have:
- One (1) year of experience creating, reviewing, and closing work orders
- The ability to coordinate with other internal departments to meet shop needs.
- Experience in utilizing computerized systems to order parts
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong skills related to Microsoft Office software products, specifically excel
You Might Have:
- Prior Truck/Automotive Service/Dealership experience
- Previous or current mechanic/technician experience
- A general knowledge of truck parts and equipment
