As an Ops Risk/Control Analyst - Procedure Author in Global Process and Procedure team, you will support the development and simplification of our procedures and reference materials. You will work with subject matter experts in the Payments Solution Center, to help understand and simplify processes in streamlined, digestible content while influencing creative thinking for consolidation and simplification across a variety of business groups while leveraging common procedures and process where appropriate to simplify for their audiences. Content will be reviewed for common language, understandability, and usability.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand content development needs with the support of subject matter experts to capture requirements for revisions, consult on development, and write procedural content for new initiatives
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify issues, promote process improvements, recommend creative solutions in structuring content, find synergies and recommend consolidation
- Be responsible for writing simplified and digestible content with a focus on clear, concise and easy-to-understand updates and new content appropriate for different levels of audience (from executive to front-line)
- Establish working relationships, facilitate and / or participate in functional meetings to coordinate agreement on documentation requirements
- Manage approval retention and routinely interface with: Business partners, subject matter experts, Legal, Compliance, Risk and Controls as needed
- Act as a Thought Leader to drive process improvement, problem solving and solutions for Payments Solution Center job families and support groups

- Highly organized and detail oriented with a structured / analytical approach to drive problem solving for Payments Solution Center job families and support groups
- Strong influence skills to lead and encourage partners when presenting best solutions for conveying their material to their audiences
- Have foresight to recognize potential issues / concerns for the business and voice them in a professional manner
- Be a team player with ability to build strong cross-business relationships
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to establish working relationships and routinely interface with: Business partners, subject matter experts, Legal, Compliance, Risk and Controls as needed
- Experience with various writing styles – including procedural, technical, executive, sales / behavioral, feature and recognition writing
- Ability to be a quick study of complex or technical topics and be able to creatively simplify those concepts into clear, precise writing while adhering to established writing guidelines and delivery processes
- Possess self-motivation that demonstrates initiative with proven flexibility, adaptability, and reliability
