JR & Co. is looking for a Business Developer/Roofing Service Technician (FT) to join our growing team. We are seeking a team member that will be willing to help grow and expand our service capabilities throughout the state of Florida. The perfect candidate would be able to perform
necessary roof repairs, as well as represent JR & Co. in a business development and sales capacity. With the goal of developing a thriving service department in North Florida, you will also aid in JR & Co’s overall strategy. Travel for production assistance and/or storm response
may be necessary until your market is established.

Job Summary
- Ensure safe work practices and compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Perform inspections and execute work orders
- Complete daily-logs in Buildertrend; Keep all team members updated on any potential changes and report incidents or concerns
- Keep assigned work truck clean, maintained, and stocked
- Assist production or storm response teams until market is
established (requires travel) - Attend weekly and monthly service meetings
- Attend networking functions
- Sell JR & Co Service to commercial and residential clients
Requirements
- 2 or more years of experience in roofing (extensive knowledge of various systems, applications and repairs including TPO, PVC, Tile, Shingle, Metal Roofing, Roof Coating, Modified-Bitumen: Torch Down, Cold Process, Self Adhered)
- OSHA 10-hour training (minimum) - (or be willing to obtain if offered a position)
- Possess and maintain clean driving record, valid driver's license and be willing to complete DOT Certification
- Entrepreneurial and sales experience
- Experience with utilizing a tablet and software such as Microsoft Office, Gmail, Google Calendar
- Elevated outdoor work (work on rooftops, heights)
- Overtime, weekends may be needed
- Frequent bending, kneeling, walking, climbing, carrying and lifting (50lbs or greater)
