JS Products, Inc., an exciting, rapidly expanding company is looking for a qualified team member to work as a Warehouse Associate. Projecting a professional business etiquette is a must. Outgoing, personable, highly motivated and willing to work in a high pressure work environment is a must.
Role and Responsibilities:
A warehouse receiver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate receipt of items ordered and placed in specified areas of the warehouse. Receivers unload trucks/trailers, containers and check in small parcel deliveries while spot checking their contents to ensure they match the Purchase Order (PO). Individuals in this role should be extremely detail oriented and possess basic math skills. It is also expected that receivers have adequate physical strength to successfully unload shipments.
Duties:
· Coordinate with QC and Logistics on all inbound shipments, prioritizing HOT/Backordered items
· Off-load all deliveries including LTL, TL, overseas containers and small parcel and inspect all packages for damages as well as sort product to be staged for putaway
· Accurately count inbound product to be verified against the pending PO/Manifest
· Coordinate with QC and Replenishment Team for any HOT items/shipments to be quickly checked and placed into location for order release
· Review any shortages or overages with QC and Logistics/Supply Chain
Qualifications:
·Must be able to work Mon-Fri day shift - 8am-4:30pm - 40hrs per week
Should have warehouse/distribution experience and understand the environment
· Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs, Team Lift is required on heavier items
· Must have the ability to multi-task individually or as a team, willingness to cross-train - **not operating equipment all day long
· Must be able work in a fast paced environment
· Must be detailed oriented, have great communication and problem solving skills
· Must be computer literate and able to quickly learn a WMS system and handhelds as well as be comfortable writing and sending emails
- Must be comfortable operating equipment - forklift experience is a plus
· High School diploma or GED required
