Responsibilities:
- Ability to negotiate estimates with Insurance Adjusters and Independant Adjusters
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and identify potential challenges or opportunities
- Research and obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and labor costs
- Create comprehensive bid proposals that outline the scope of work, pricing, and project schedule
- Review and negotiate estimates with subcontractors, and insurance providers
- Monitor project costs and make adjustments as necessary to ensure profitability
- Provide ongoing support to project managers during the construction phase
Requirements:
- Knowledge in the insurance industry and how insurance claim process operates (CAT Events)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Proficient in using estimating software and tools - Xactimate Software
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
