The JST HR & Finance Generalist will support the Finance and Human Resource department on functions to achieve organizational goals and to ensure that JST compliance obligations are met. The ideal candidate possesses a solid ethical framework and understanding of confidentiality and has demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic in prior work experience.

HR Responsibilities:
Assists during the pre and post-hiring process
Ensures timely response to questions from hiring managers, employees, and new hires
Coordinates with recruiting team for new hire onboarding and orientation; ensuring receipt of all reviewed and interviewed candidates' resumes for Affirmative Action reports
Assists in the orientation and onboarding process
Conducts new employee orientation
Prepares and coordinates materials and equipment delivery for employee onboarding
Assists in administering and updating employee benefits
Provide general support for HR
Maintains employee personnel files and conducts ongoing audits
Assists in compiling information to ensure company compliance in multiple areas
Assists in benefits administration and maintenance
Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention
Assist in the planning, leading, developing, coordinating, and implementing of policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs
Assist in administering or overseeing the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system
Assist in monitoring and ensuring the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management
Finance Responsibilities:
Provide general support for Accounting
Process all incoming invoices and distribute them to appropriate staff for approval
Prepare and Process outgoing Invoices on a weekly/bi-monthly/monthly schedule in Accounting Software and submit them in Government Portals
Track AR Invoices for processing by government/customers for timely processing and payments
Reconcile benefit invoices to payroll records
Comply with established internal control practices and procedures to ensure proper management of financial transactions
Assist in timesheet reviews for payroll administration as backup
Social Media Responsibilities:
Provide general support for Company Social Media platforms
Update social media content across all channels
Engage with customers and followers
Use social media platforms for a Marketing tool
Develop and post content
HR & Finance Generalist Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and at least one year of related experience.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred
Service Contract Act (SCA) preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Champion in promoting respect and teambuilding
Relationship builder; a team player with all departments
Patience with routine and attention to detail
Proactive and process-oriented working style
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems
Skills Required:
Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Ability to utilize software and work with databases; some experience preferred
Ability to multi-task, meet pressing deadlines and anticipate needs
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to meet deadlines and coordinate work with others
Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills
Excellent computer skills and superior knowledge of all MS Office Suite programs; accurate reporting skills
Excellent planning, organization, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Excellent problem solving, inter-personal skills, and attention to detail
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Ability to adapt and adjust in changing environment
