Position Summary
This experienced engineer with 3-5 years of relevant experience will play a key role in launching new electronic product lines for automotive customers, both OE and aftermarket. Additionally, this position holds responsibility for overseeing the operation and maintenance of the turbocharger test stand and functional testers. The role is within a rapidly growing business unit and company, offering significant visibility.
Job Duties
Generate technical documentation, including electrical system specifications and topographical maps, to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
Collaborate with engineering teams and technicians to develop and implement repair processes for electronic actuators and to create and validate new test stands.
Co-participate in the development and implementation of turbo actuator remanufacturing processes.
Design, implement, maintain, or enhance electrical instruments, equipment, components, products, or systems for both commercial and industrial applications.
Compile data and compose reports related to ongoing or potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
Prepare specifications for material and equipment procurement.
Qualifications/Competencies
3-5 years of work experience in the field of Electrical Engineering.
Holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering.
Proficiency in using various computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) tools to control machinery and machine tools for tasks like creation, modification, analysis, or optimization within manufacturing processes.
Experience in testing protocols enabling various analyses of electronic systems, products, and components.
Strong understanding of Electrical Engineering and Engineering design principles.
Extensive experience in interpreting electronic circuit board designs and developing new designs using LabView.
Familiarity with CAN data collection and processing.
Proficiency in understanding design drawings outlining the design of products, tools, and engineering systems.
