What will I do in this role with Judson?
As a Lead Hospitality Aide, supporting the Judson mission will include the following responsibilities:
- Train staff.
- Report employee performance.
- Supervise all wait staff and Café Louise staff.
- Perform all duties required by the positions in Dining Rooms and Café Louise and Satellite Kitchens and Main Kitchen.
- Accurately bill resident meals on a daily basis.
- Maintain high sanitation levels by maintaining systematic procedures.
- Resolve customer and staff complaints.
- Maintain high visibility in assigned areas.
- Work in concert with the rest of the Management team in operating the department.
- Work abnormal hours.
- Print and distribute menus.
- Attend meetings when and where requested and at times act as the Dining Services Representative.
- Maintain a record of acceptable attendance and punctuality.
- Other duties as assigned.
What do I need for this role with Judson?
- High school diploma/GED required.
- At least 2 years college OR 5 years of restaurant/LTC experience equivalent required.
- Catering background and an understanding of Banquet set up required.
- Must be courteous and considerate of others.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure under stressful conditions.
- Computer skills, including Excel, Word, Publisher and Financial software.
