Julian Bakery, Inc. has been in business for more than 20 years making the highest quality gluten free, low carb, protein powders, protein bars, and keto friendly food products. We are looking for someone to grow our distribution, and retailer sales.

The Vice President of Sales will report to the Owner of the company and will be responsible for driving sales initiatives and strategies. This position will refine and execute the overall strategy and own the end-to-end customer experience in an effort to drive significant growth in revenue. In large part, success in this position will be dependent on several key factors:
- Executing on the companies national business strategy in order to drive dramatically higher revenue through increased sales into major distributions and chains.
- Establishing new vertical markets (Gas Stations, Gyms, Kiosk, Hotels, Etc)
- Improving & increasing existing distribution relationships:
**Must have previous sales experience with national food distributors**
(Previous Experience With UNFI, KEHE, Nature's Best, US Foods, Core-Mark A Must)
- Proven track record building sales into the distribution and large grocery chains
- Keen ability to identify new market opportunities within our existing customer while looking for new ones.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Vice President of Sales will manage a current staff of 3 employees with 1 direct report. Our company is growing 40% a year with many inbound customers to capitalize on but also we are looking to expand internationally. Must have previous experience with growing sales teams for international business as well and U.S. sales.
- Determine and drive interconnections to build sales to help define, execute and map to targeted grocery stores that we can get our product into.
- Lead the development of a consistent customer sales strategy, assigning points of contact for all customer-related issues.
- Drive enhancements to existing sales organization to ensure a sense of community for customers and prospects.
- Work closely with the owner to meet companies specific sales goals.
- Establish current needs and 3-year vision and direction and recommend key priorities for our companies long term success.
- Institute best practices.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
-A seasoned career Sales professional with a minimum of 6 to 10 years of Sales
-A clear track record of leading dramatic growth across multiple channels for a company selling food related products. A world-class sales leader with a proven track record of success in in the food/grocery markets.
- Proved record of success at companies known for building great and profitable relationships directly with customers.
- Strong technical or data-driven sales expertise and the proven ability to evangelize it, along with the ability to conceptualize and teach sales principles and practices. Must be able to generate sales in excess of $2 Million a year.
- A leader with the contacts and experience to sell products to national health food chains and then pair it will distribution sales strategies for maximum sales.
- Track record of success launching food products nationwide with year over year growth.
- An innate understanding of business processes and how to use them to provide our customers with excellent service, and grow our company as a whole.
- A passionate and skilled communicator who can articulate the companies's vision in a clear and compelling way that immediately generates excitement, enthusiasm and a commitment to the vision in subordinates, peers and external partners.

Your Talents: - 6 to 10 years in CPG (Food / Beverage) marketplace.
- 3 years sales management experience (B to B sales); marketing and operations management also a plus
- Masters Degree Preferred
- A blend of small business, entrepreneurial and large company experience is ideal
- Experience & Understanding Of Fitness, Nutrition, Diets Required.
- Experience building distribution sales for a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) company
- Must have experience bringing a CPG product into distribution & launching nationwide
- Some Quickbooks software experience is preferred
- Strong results orientation and decision-making skills: take-charge attitude and champion of innovative ideas
- Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to confidently make presentations to senior executives

Compensation For The Right Candidate: $150K to $200K/yr
Yearly Bonus Available For Hitting Sales Targets
