Director of Training

Juniper is growing and we have a new position to support our expanding organization! We are seeking an accomplished Director of Training for the design, implementation, and improvement of the company's training and development programs.

Essential Job Functions:

• Directs the design, implementation and improvement of the company’s training and development program, Juniper University, maintaining a culture centered around employee development.
• Collaborates with cross-functional management teams to assess ongoing L&D needs based on skills gap analyses ensuring optimal performance within the company.
• Creates and maintains course content, course catalogues, training curriculums and development tracks in the Learning Management System. 
• Oversees and establishes relationships with vendors providing outside training programs.
• Develops training standards across the business and oversees the planning, prioritization, development and evaluation of all training and development efforts.
• Conducts or coordinates training in key focus areas, such as leadership, operations, safety, etc. including planning, organizing, and ordering supplies for training events.
• Implements new and innovative training methods which incorporate adult learning principles to drive successful adoption and evaluates their effectiveness.
• Collaborates with HR department and management to develop a company-wide orientation and onboarding process.
• Leads technical trainers (subject matter experts) responsible for developing content and delivering training on a specialized basis.
• Trains and coaches managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee development efforts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and implementing training and development programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in relative field, preferred.
• Experience with various L&D platforms, learning techniques (adult learning) and processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain positive and collaborative relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite and learning management software.
