Our client, a professional services company in Chester County, PA is in search for their next HR Director. The primary responsibility of the Human Resource Director will be to oversee all HR functions with the overall goal of aligning HR policies with the company’s overall goals and objectives. This is an executive level position that will be responsible for forming partnerships across all departments to deliver value-added service to management and employees by overseeing, planning, and managing all aspects related to human resources. The Human Resources Director will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
This position is hybrid – onsite 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday)
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related
to resource allocation, staffing, recruiting, and retention.
• Workforce planning, including analyzing and forecasting staffing supply and demand to ensure
the company always has the right person for the role.
• Implements human resources strategies by structuring department accountabilities, including
talent acquisition, staffing, employment, processing, and compensation.
• Overseeing strategies to manage employee performance to increase productivity and help
achieve organizational objectives.
• Supports management by providing strategic human resources guidance, counsel, and decisions,
and serving as an intermediary between leadership and full-time employees.
• Plans and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the
organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
• Oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to,
compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations.
performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational
health and safety; and training and development.
• Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment
laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews and modifies policies and
practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in
human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to
communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
• Performs other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required;
Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of human resource management experience required.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.
• Experience working with ADP highly preferred
