Coffee Barista

Just Botta Coffee is looking for an experienced barista to join our team. Candidates must be personable and have a strong work ethic demonstrating honesty and integrity at all times.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Provide customers with prompt service and quality beverages, demonstrating a "customer comes first" attitude
• Maintain a clean and comfortable work environment, clean all equipment as required
• Must be able to slightly multitask as the job requires short order cooking skills
• In addition to coffee, we have a small mercantile area. You will be in charge of ringing out all purchases on your register as well as stocking and merchandising this area
• Perform cleaning tasks, including but not limited to, cleaning customer seating area and restrooms daily
• Be comfortable and confident in menu, able to answer questions and make all drinks to standard
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products according to Oregon Health Guidelines
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Merchandise, stock, rotate and store various products. Keep track of any supplies that needs to be purchased.
• Follow cash handling and register policies
• Regular attendance and punctuality is required

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:

• Prior Barista experience preferred
• Ability to pass in-house barista training
• Accuracy/attention to detail
• Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects
• Familiarity with coffee industry/technical terms and processes
• Obtain or posses a Food Handler's Card
• Ability to short order cook for simple breakfast sandwiches
