Just Salad is looking for a Supply Chain & Sustainability Intern to join the team. Our intern will gain first-hand knowledge of the restaurant industry and learn the ins and outs of working in a corporate environment. Be a part of one of the fastest-growing restaurant chains!
This role will report to our Supply Chain & Sustainability Manager.
Location: NYC (must be able to come into the office 3 times per week)
Internship Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Food Waste Tracker Management
- Inventory management in R365
- B Corp Reporting
- Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Calculations
- Waste Auditing
- Corporate GHG Emissions Inventory Database Management
- Price Audits Analysis
- Demand Forecasting
- General office work.
Our ideal candidate would have the following qualities:
- Student or recent graduate with business, liberal arts, or communications degree
- Strong analytical skills (data cleaning and analysis using software like Excel)
- Coursework and/or job experience that demonstrates an interest in sustainability or responsible sourcing
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills to manage information gathering requests
Benefits:
- Weekly Stipend of $400 or $600/ pending on experience
- FT - 40 hours per week
- Sept 5, 2023 – Nov. 24, 2023
