Who We Are Looking For:
Are you the long-term substitute teacher we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for educating others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our students!
We are looking for a long term sub to cover an upcoming maternity leave in the middle school; this position is expected to turn into a full time position as our school continues to expand. The middle school team is a dynamic group serving 12 middle school students in a collaborative model. Teachers teach four classes of four students daily and support students in elective classes on a rotating basis. The possibility of part time hours is available during the substitute period.
The Victor School provides challenging, college-preparatory academics in a safe, nurturing environment rich with social, emotional, and transitional skill development. Our students are intellectually gifted and have social/emotional challenges that have been under served in previous school settings. Our staff provide an exceptional education and specialized therapeutic attention to students supporting them in reaching their educational, career, and personal goals. Our school serves students between 6th-12th grades within a 12 month school year operating from July - June.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Massachusetts DESE Certification as a Content teacher (any area) or Special Educator in Moderate Disabilities 5-12 preferred.
- Preference given to those with dual certification or eligibility for same.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred Experience working with emotionally challenged/ mentally ill adolescents and teenagers.
- Experience working with Google Classroom preferred.
- Acceptable CORI and background check.
