Senior Frontend Engineer

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Able to translate designer mockups and wireframes into front-end code. ● Ability to work in cross-functional teams to define, build out, and take ownership of projects. 
• Being part of a top notch engineering team, must have a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design. 
• Write and test high-quality, web-accessible, and maintainable code 
• Play a leadership role in frontend infrastructure decisions to streamline code development, deployment and performance monitoring 
• Work on web applications with components portable across multiple OS platforms including mobile 

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

• 4 years of building high-quality presentation layers for high volume production systems. ● Expert knowledge of core web fundamentals: HTML, JavaScript, and CSS ● Expert knowledge of React/Recoil/Next.js 
• Experience with JS-based build tools like Bower, Gulp and Webpack. ● Experience with integrating with server-side technologies like Ruby, Python, or Node. ● Track record of building great interfaces with the user experience in mind. ● Excellent debugging and optimization skills 
• Unit/integration testing experience (jest/cypress/jasmine) 
• Self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. 

EDUCATION: 

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in engineering preferred
