Due to Company growth, we are actively seeking a Project Manager to join our Solar Team in Bangor Maine. Candidates must have experience working in the utility industry, preferably on solar projects.
Responsibilities & Duties::
- Manage multiple projects
- Scheduling coordination
- Interface with engineering, CM’s, and others from project management
- Identify and resolve issues to stay on schedule and meet project objectives.
- Manage risk and implement the risk management plan.
- Ensure resources are provided in a timely manner so that work can be performed effectively, minimizing delays, and increasing resource utilization within budgetary constraints while improving quality.
- Update schedules on a regular and pre-determined basis with a minimum of weekly updates
- Provide monthly schedule updates, critical path analyses, and projected cash-flow reports.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred
- 7 years relevant project management experience in electric utility projects is required
- Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools.
- General understanding of utility operations
- Ability to influence, lead, and manage change thoughtfully and positively.
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
- Strong project management skills and a strategic perspective are required.
- Must be a Maine resident or able to relocate to Maine for this role
Salary : $88,200 - $112,000
