The Land Planning Specialist will assist Land Planning Managers in satisfying all entitlement contingencies for assigned communities. Manage project needs with consultants, field staff and jurisdictions during planning and construction. Act as liaison between all entities to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Manage the entitlement process while maintaining community schedules. Process all architectural and engineering plans with corresponding agencies from tentative approvals through final approvals and permits. Audit and approve the payment of all related fees for communities. Reconcile community budgets and report necessary budget adjustments on a monthly basis by tracking contract payments, fees paid and jurisdictional fee changes. Travel to varied locations, jurisdictions and municipalities as needed, delivering and picking up plans, permits and any other necessary documents.
Requirements include a bachelor's degree from four-year college or university focusing on Business, Urban Planning, or Finance; two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver's license.
