K&N has been doing business in the Pacific Northwest for the past 75 years. We service, replace and repair electric motors, pumps and controls that keep our municipalities and industries up and running. For more than 7 decades we have been providing dedicated service that has helped extend the life cycle of critical components in a vast array of industries. This division is headquartered in Spokane, WA and currently has on-site position available for a project coordinator/project manager.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation of the department and its construction and manufacturing projects. This position will support projects from cradle to grave and be responsible for time sensitive material.
- Coordinate and oversee project activities from start to finish
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met
- Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, schedule of values, and budgets, including monthly budget reporting
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and presentations
- Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and vendors
- Identify and resolve project issues and risks in a timely manner
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables
- Use SharePoint document management system
- Coordinate with customer safety requirements and protocols
- Track/prepare submittals and submittal log
- Procurement process including purchase orders, payments and invoicing
- Manage subcontracts and subcontractors if applicable
- Schedule of values
- Prepare RFP's when necessary
- Project close-out
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Microsoft Office 2 years (required); proficient in Word, Excel, and Adobe
- Familiar with Project, Publisher and SharePoint
- Previous construction environment or production of goods environment preferred
