We’re excited to announce the opening of a new Paralegal position within our organization. This role will be instrumental in negotiating contracts, maintaining vendor relations, and ensuring K2United stays current and in compliance with regulations, contract requirements, and business licenses.

- experienced in reading and redlining contracts, including negotiating contract phrasing to ensure favorable outcomes for the organization
- passionate about using your skills to protect and enhance the organization and its assets
- skilled at reading between the lines to gain a comprehensive understanding of intent, purpose, and outcome when it comes to vendor relations and contracts
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
Your Impact
As a new professional in our organization, you’ll have the opportunity to grow with us as we strive toward our 3-year picture and 10-year vision — including helping us bring our legal assistance in-house. The K2United Paralegal will help define, refine, and implement processes for maintaining organizational compliance, data privacy, intellectual privacy, and effective vendor relations. Your responsibilities will include:?
- overseeing and maintaining business licenses, making sure we are always on top of our registrations
- drafting and redlining customer contracts and vendor/supplier agreements for all lines of business, including ensuring minimum contract guidelines are followed for all contracts
- maintaining a customer contracts database
- preparing and submitting CareerSafe bids, including managing the CareerSafe contracts email, building strong working relationships with CareerSafe Account Executives, registering for new RFP portals, and updating the SalesForce bids table
- reviewing and redlining data privacy agreements (DPAs)
- staying up to date with latest federal, state, and local DPA compliance laws
- creating and maintaining a DPA monitoring system
- staying up to date on OSHA compliance policies
- registering for and monitoring business licenses, ensuring compliance is maintained
