Essential Job Functions:
- Carry out and attain the mission and goals of the business.
- Assure all guests experience 5-star level service.
- Maintain a strong resort culture by living out our Core Values and Mission.
- Drive health and safety for both the team and all canine guests in our care.
- Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals.
- Delegate responsibilities, ensuring accountability and giving timely feedback.
- Monitor/measure customer satisfaction and feedback.
- Model proper uniform and attire expectations and expect the same from staff.
- Review applications and conduct interviews to assist with staffing/hiring.
- Supervise all Front-End and Back-End Staff when acting as Manager on Duty.
- Open and close the resort as scheduled.
- Complete any job requirement of any staff member except the owner if/when needed.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Operations Manual through monitoring staff in every task.
- Assemble a weekly schedule for staff in partnership with the management team.
- Manage supply inventory effectively, ensuring appropriate on-hand quantities.
- Train all new staff and provide continuing education for existing personnel.
- Greet all customers coming into the resort.
- Check-In / Check-Out customers in the point-of-sale system (Gingr).
- Answer telephone inquiries and provide information about K9 Resorts.
- Educate clients on what we have to offer through in-person tours of the resort.
- Develop pet feeding/medication schedules and oversee these processes.
- Perform any tasks/functions at the direction of the GM.
- Oversee all disinfecting, bathing, and daycare procedures.
- Prioritize and coordinate daily, weekly and monthly duties of staff.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in a pet boarding or hospitality environment preferred
- Demonstrated leadership experience in prior roles
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
- Computer proficient – experience with Google Workspace preferred
Job Requirements & Necessary Skills:
- Able to pass the K9 Resorts Certification Program after completion of training
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Customer service-oriented
- Proficient at reading and understanding financial statements.
- Ability to work any shift outside of regular schedule if requested by GM
- Weekend and Holiday hours are required

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
