As our HR Assistant, you play a key role in our team by providing advanced technical and administrative services to our HR Department and KT Team. A successful candidate in this position will be conscientious, people-service oriented, and an adaptable team player with an excellent eye for detail, who loves helping people, and willing to jump into work that ranges from administrative to creative. This position exercises considerable judgment in interpreting policies, practices, regulations, and procedures and must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:
- Supports human resources processes by administering tests, scheduling appointments, conducting orientations, and maintaining records and information with excellent follow-through and attention to detail
- Support HR processes by drafting letters, compiling other documentation, and following standard work
- Coordinate recruitment activities including posting, advertising, scheduling interviews, and conducting applicant screenings
- Maintain employee data in the HRIS system
- Respond to employee questions and concerns related to HR systems and policies, escalating as needed
- Work closely with the HR team to support projects, training, and events as needed
- Develop and maintain HR forms, documents, and other materials
- Act as a point of contact for timekeeping and absences, and monitor timely completion of requests
- Improve work through continuous problem-solving methods such as Kaizen and Kata
- Demonstrate excellent customer service with teams both inside and outside of our organization
- Communicate love and respect to internal and external customers, while holding the line of company policy and government law
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and integrity in all interactions and communications
- Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
- Other duties as assigned
Schedule:
40 hours per week, Typical: 7:00am- 4:30pm (Monday-Thursday) and = 40 on Fridays. Willing to work overtime as needed.
Ideally, qualified applicants have:
- 2 years of related experience or training and/or a Bachelor's degree
- The desire to serve others with humility
- A self-starter and loves to learn
- Motivated to make a positive impact within the organization
- Willing and able to work in an open office environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and general aptitude
- Desire to grow personally and professionally
- Attention to detail and ability to follow and improve processes

Benefits package includes:
Starting wage for this position is $20.00
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Under 12 months: 1 hour PTO for every 30 worked
After 1 Year: 70 hours PTO
After 3 Years: 110 hours PTO
After 5 Years: 120 hours 30 hours paid Holiday during Christmas week
Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are paid for 10 hours after 3 months of employment
Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits: Eligible for coverage on the 1st day of the month following completion of 60 days of employment
Tuition Assistance: Eligible after 6 months of employment
401(k): Employer match based on the profitability of the company
Technology Reimbursement: Eligible after 1 year of employment
