What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at KabaFusion?
As a Pharmacy Technician at KabaFusion, you will, primarily work in the clean room and compound acute and chronic therapies including IVIg, TPN’s and antibiotics.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Compound IV therapies using aseptic technique and following USP 797 & 800 guidelines
- Clean, test and maintain equipment and infusion pumps
- Performs and records various quality control activities including air sampling, bacterial counts, and Steri testing
- Reports all “positive” results to the pharmacy supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
What you bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current and violation free Pharmacy Technician license or certification as required by state law
- 1 year of sterile compounding experience
