Job Posting for LAN Software Support Analyst at Kaimetrix
Kaimetrix is looking for a LAN Software Support Analyst to support our United States Environmental Protection Agency customer onsite in Philadelphia, PA. This position will be responsible for configuring client installations and troubleshooting software via SCCM. The candidate will also be responsible for providing support to our help desk and desktop support team in troubleshooting related issues as well as identifying enhancements to technical procedures and documentation which could improve overall system performance. The position will be largely onsite in Center City Philadelphia. Job Type: Full-time
The ideal candidate must possess the following experience:
Provide support to ensure that stable, consistent, and secure service is in place for more than 1000 users in the client region.
Ensure that appropriate level of software installations, upgrades, patches, and licensing are in place via SCCM
Hands-on operational support and associated support services, including Windows servers, Active Directory, and Workstation vulnerability patching.
Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, products, and platforms to provide cost-effective solutions that meet business and technology requirements
Support problem and incident management by performing root-cause analysis for service interruption, create preventative measures to deploy in the enterprise, and coordinate preparation of incident reports.
Prepare monthly management reports and metrics as required
Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for systems, operational processes and procedures.
Complete Project management documentation as required.
Ensure continuity of operations and all changes are recorded in Service Now.
Qualification requirements:
Must have experience with SCCM, Windows Environments, and Software Security.
Experience with Citrix, Microsoft Server Operating Systems; Microsoft database products and other Microsoft applications is preferred
Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in Microsoft Windows technology, Windows server operating systems, and Active Directory.
Knowledge of Active Directory particularly Group Policy and Security
SCCM: 2 years (Preferred)
Windows Systems: 5 years (Required)
Special Requirements/Certifications
Candidates MUST have U.S. citizenship and be able to pass a government background investigation. Active Government Security Clearance a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline is desired
Security , Network , MCSE Certifications are desired
