What you’ll do
The Field Operators' primary responsibilities will be leading field teams as well as driving our branded company trucks, protecting, and moving furniture in and out of our customers’ homes while providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will also be a Brand Ambassador, as you will be the face of our company.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Safely packing, wrapping, and labeling items, loading trucks, and securing cargo.
- Moving furniture in and out of individual's homes and providing excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries
- Consistently finding the best route or the best way, and being able to handle a large number of competing priorities
- Perform routine inspections on vehicles and all duties in compliance with appropriate security and safety standards.
- Responsible for ensuring that all documentation, receipts, invoices, and forms are completed appropriately and delivered on time
- Occasionally assisting with warehouse processes (handling inventory, furniture maintenance, warehouse cleanliness, etc.)
What you’ll need
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- DOT Certification (Must be obtained upon hire)
- Ability to lift/maneuver 75 lbs. of merchandise on your own or with assistance.
- Pass a background check, and MVR check, before employment.
- Experience operating a 16 - 26 ft box truck or similar. (preferred)
- Weekend availability is a must
