About the Role
After almost two years in the COVID-19 testing industry, Kameo is growing our platform product and testing services, and looking for an experienced, ambitious, and entrepreneurial Sales Manager to help build and scale our B2B sales organization within our business.
In the role of Director of Sales, you’ll be a key member in building the sales team, and help to scale Kameo into new markets within the US. You’ll report to the CEO and will be responsible for closing new business with entertainment studios and corporate offices looking for testing and testing management software. An ideal candidate will have experience building a sales organization, a proven track record of surpassing sales goals, and stellar coaching skills. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing startup and help build a Sales organization from the ground up.

Desired Candidate:
- 3-5 years of sales experience, ideally selling services or software to film production companies and studios
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals
- Excellent relationship builder, with experience managing client relationships
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategy
- Experience managing and directing a sales team
- Passionate, self-motivated individual who is results-driven and solutions-oriented
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Experience with Hubspot or similar CRM
- Ability to manage complex decision-making processes
Job Duties:
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands Kameo’s customer base and extends our national reach
- Dual role, where you will be actively involved in both selling and helping manage and grow Kameos sales team
- Build strong relationships with existing studio partners to support continued growth
- Actively prospect and sell to decision-makers at film & television production studios, and other businesses
- Drive new business through strategic thinking and outbound sales tactics
- Manage and coach a team of Business Development Representatives and eventually hire a team of Account Executives
- Understand a prospect's problems and provide solutions
- Report on, and manage, both personal and team’s sales activity, pipeline, and performance in Hubspot
- Maintain an accurate pipeline of future business
- Attend conferences and networking events to generate new business and promote Kameo
