Summary: The Plant Manager is responsible for all operational performance of the location. This shall include ensuring the operation meets or exceeds all customer requirements regarding performance, quality, safety, and employee behavior.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enforcing safety policies and procedures
- Perform on-site HR functions including but not limited to hiring and termination of employees
- Manage the HR policies and procedures as well as drive consistency
- Train, coach, and develop plant management, production, and administrative teams
- Perform investigations
- Manage site costs, includes, but not limited to labor, forklift and building maintenance
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with customers; acknowledge and understanding customer demands
- Full Profit and Loss responsibility for the assigned location
- Responsible for inventory management and asset control
- Establish and develop relationships with vendors and transportation
- Maintain compliance and development of administrative processes to assure proper invoicing and cost of direct transportation requirements of the plant
- Manage all product costs and quoting to ensure margin requirements are met
- Driving operations in direction to meet and exceed company defined metrics
- Plan and execute production requirements within the plan and coordinate production with other regional facilities
- Perform quality and safety audits
- Adhere to Kamps Safety standards at all times to ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Review weekly payroll for accuracy
- Conduct performance reviews
- Partner with Sales Associate as required
- Other duties as assigned by the Regional Director

Qualifications/Skills:
- 10 or more years of management experience with profit and loss responsibility in a production environment is preferred
- Strong production and/or warehouse experience
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Engaged in the day-to-day operation and familiar with the different tasks and duties performed throughout the operation
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Ability to lead, direct, and coach employees effectively and fairly
- Experience in lumber, wood, or pallet and crate is highly desirable
- Ability to operate and lead in a team environment and communicate clearly and effectively with management and fellow team members
- Meet deadlines and work well with various personalities with a range of skill levels
- Experience with computers, including Excel, Outlook, and cloud-based software
- Data entry
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational skills

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
