What you'll do as a Warehouse Technician
- You will receive, inspect, store and secure all supplies and materials when delivered.
- You will maintain all receive inventory in an organized and efficient manner.
- You will assign and account for all materials issued to work crews on a daily basis.
- You will maintain a shelf stock of parts, tools and any other job required supplies.
- You will conduct a complete physical inventory each month that will account for all materials stored, received and issued from the warehouse and yard.
- You will maintain material usage logs / spreadsheets to comply with our customer's usage and tracking systems.
- You will assist in the management, maintenance and upkeep of fleet tools and equipment assigned to the project.
- You will be capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.
- You will pick up or deliver material using a company vehicle
What you'll need
- You have have 1-3 year's minimum experience within the Underground Utility Construction Industry but will train right applicant
- You have experience in working through all types of weather, including inclement weather
- You have the ability to lift and / or pull 75 pounds several times each day
- You are at least 18 years of age or older
- You have a valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience
- You have the willingness to work in a solo and team environment
- You are a self starter
- You have effective communication skills
- You have experience with operating a forklift
- You are authorized to work in the United States for this company
