What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Assistant position at Kanawha Home Health?
6-7 days per week. If you are willing to work weekends and meet the qualifications and requirements we will pay $13/ hr.
```Duties```
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help clients with mobility and physical activities
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Escort clients to appointments or social outings
- Document and report any changes in client's condition to the supervisor
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
